About Charlie Williams Iii
I’m a Creative Technical Director with 15+ years of experience spanning AAA games, immersive experiences, VFX, real-time production, and emerging creative technology. My foundation is in 3D and CG craft, evolving from hands-on real-time environment art and production into leading artists, directing multidisciplinary teams, building pipelines, and solving complex creative and technical challenges. Today, I work at the intersection of creative direction, 3D, and generative AI—exploring node-based workflows and hybrid approaches that connect emerging tools with established CG and production techniques. I’m a hands-on leader who believes the best technology serves the idea. My focus is simple: build strong teams, solve difficult creative problems, and turn ambitious ideas into memorable experiences.
