About Alan Capriles
I'm a creative director and AI filmmaker in New York. I run Animus Studio, where I direct AI-assisted video production from concept to prompt to final cut — pairing 20+ years of post-production judgment (Netflix, Nike, Condé Nast) with the current generative stack: Runway, Kling, Pika, MidJourney, Sora, Veo. I finish in Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects. I care about story, emotion, and character consistency — not just visuals.
Reality Is the Draft
Reality Is the Draft. A concept film for the eyewear brand Paloceras. The frames have a strong sculptural quality, so I wanted to build a world with the same tension — minimal, surreal, and slightly off from reality.
